I would highly recommend you try 180 Bergers with IMR 7828. This powder has been a sleeper. It works great in 6.5 and 7mm cartridges with capacities 60-70 grains. Low pressure, great velocity, low extreme spreads. Slow burn rates and lower pressures will help with barrel life.

You have given me some confidence in one of the powders I was going to try. Looking at Quick Load ranked it pretty high for exactly what you just said. I have a box of 180's and an 8Lb jug of IMR7828SSC that I had purchased a couple of years ago.

Got to get that barrel Chambered up so I can start testing.
