Was able to take the new rifle out yesterday to sight in the scope and try my new loads. These are my first and last of 5, 5 shot strings at 200 yards with my .284 Winchester during sighting in the new rifle yesterday . I am satisfied. Club match on the 30th. Will be out shooting mid range this weekend to get everything settled in.
.284 Winchester for F-Open - Still Viable?

WindSurgeon, your original question about whether or not a .284 is still a viable option for F-Open... I would say that with those groups, on a new gun with very little load development as of yet, should answer your question with effervescence! I believe you will do exceptionally well!
