Thanks, I ran some different bullets on Hornady's ballistic calculator, and used 2775 for 130's and 2850 for 123's. I hunt with 120gr Sierra's but have never chronographed my loads as I was more interested in accuracy.I think ~2950 with H4831 in my 26" model 70
I've shot Sierra 123 MKs for years at 300 and 600yd for Across the course. Unless the wind is really howling or swtiching quick I haven't seen the need for my 142s. Now the Nosler 123 has a slightly lower BC but that is what I'm going to next as Sierra's have gotten really expensive. I'm shooting in a 260 AR10 with a 28" barrel.I've been invited to shoot steel at 600 yards. I'm probably going to take the 260 I screwed together a few years ago, Savage action, 24" Shilen Select match, varmint contour with a 1-9" twist, my deer rifle.
I'm considering Nosler Custom Competition 123 grain bullets. Anyone ran them in a 260?
Thanks.

I shoot these in a .260 AI on occasion, so far only on steel, paper and feral hogs. They shoot extremely well pushed hard and they've performed admirably on pigs. I'm going to shoot them in a club midrange match one of these days and see how they do.Try some 130 ELD-Ms. They are fine in a 9 twist and a decent BC.

I think the 123s will serve you well at 600 if for some reason they don't try the 130SMK or the Berger 130OTMs. I've had excellent results with both of these bullets in my 260s. I think with the 1/9" any of these will be great. My 260s are 1/8" and I can shoot the 142SMKs really good also. Thanks guys. I've ordered a couple boxes of 123gr Sierra MK's to try. If I'm not happy I'll order some 130's.
38.5 N150 in LCLR brass that I formed to .260. But works in remington brass also. Seems to be a universal charge as has ran in 2 previous barrels and my brothers. That charge runs with 140/142s in bolt guns also.Care to share load info? I have a 260 Spacegun I've been trying to get dialed in
