anyone done this yet? sure would like to hear the pros &cons. im thinking it would be a sweet g hog cal.

I just finished one on a Bat action with a Lilja 3 grove barrel. I don't know how the thing is going to shoot. It shows promise but the jury is still out. Its case capacity is just about identical to a 22-250 so what you have is a 22-250 with a small rifle primer and excellent brass. I keep you posted.

What do you think would happen if you ran this 6.5x47L brass thru a .22-250 or .22-250 AI F/L die... any possibilities for forming cases that way? .22-250 AI w/ small primer pockets and Lapua brass sounds pretty good to me!

I got a couple of 22/6.5x47 cartridges at the 600 Yard Nationals in SAC and it does look like a winner to me. I haven't got around to measuring capacity or anything like that but I'm thinking leave it just as it is. A 22BR sizing should work to form the cases and a 22BR seater should work just as well.
