No not a cord my truck bed isn’t big enough for a cord. I gave my 204 to my son so he could start hunting with me. So I guess I am screwedWow! Like a cord of coyotes.
I would suggest a 204 with a 35gr Berger.

Thanks for the info.I hear ya.
Seriously though I found some 60gr Hornady Vmax a couple of months ago and decided to try them on my Savage 1-12 twist 22-250. They shot great in mine with
H380.
With proper shot placement, any 22 cal bullet will do the job and the coyote won't know the difference.I am trying to decide on a good bullet to hunt coyotes with. I been using 50 gr vmax for a few years and have had mix results. Wanting to try a heavier 60 gr bullet. Either a 60 Berger’s or maybe the 60 gr tipped smk. Any one using these bullets have any input thanks.
I understand that but some will do a lot better job then others. With proper shot placement, any 22 cal bullet will do the job and the coyote won't know the difference.
Absolutely! If you haven't tried the Barnes 50 Varmint Grenade, you might do so. The killing effect over the V-Max has been considerable in my experience. Seldom get pass-throughs unless shot very close. Rare day a coyote takes these anywhere in the body and runs off.I understand that but some will do a lot better job then others.
Coyotes aren't that hard to kill, I've killed one with a bow, he ran about 10 yards and was done.
These were done in by the Sierra 1365 out of my Savage mdl 12, 210-260 yards.

Any decent 50-55 grn bullet will do just fine in the 22-250. Forget about the so called splashing, Any damage done will kill them, either on the spot or in short time.
Any shot coyote is a dozen fewer fawns and game birds eaten by one.
Coyotes in certain parts of the country are certainly harder to kill than others.
A late season thick skinned coyote in my part of the world is most likely harder to kill than these guys here.
Bullet splash is a pretty real thing and easy to lose a dog when it happens.
Not hard to kill but they certainly don’t give up easy.
Have you ever tried the 1365's?
I do agree they don't give up easily, vent their lungs and it's all over though.
This is not the sexiest bullet out there. But it was made for the 22-250. Hits like a hammer, stable in flight as they come. Never failed me under 350 yds. The Sierra # 1350 55 grain Semi Pointed Soft Point.
