I was hoping my Dasher would be back from getting its new stock finished in time for the match, but it won't. I am bringing my Hall actioned Clarence Hammonds built 17lb 6ppc. Old school build, sporting a pre-Highmaster 10-60 March. Looking forward to the shoot.

Looks like they are calling for 80* high and cloudy with a 65% chance of rain. See how it goes.

This is what I'm seeing so far. Not bad considering. This time of year with
the humidity, there will be pop ups and scattered. Besides, we have good
light a lot longer in the day. If It rains, we invade Tom's kitchen. I'm more
worried about up here on Thursday for the cook. Storms and showers mess
with the offset cooker. May do it Wednesday......

Morning's coffee is brewing and will be going over the check list, and
loading the car......Weather Radar cleared up quite a bit, and does say

One thing you can count on at the top of the mountain is......unpredictable weather. Boy scout motto applies, Be Prepared. I set my flags yesterday late afternoon and it was sunny, warm, light SW breeze.

Well we are 12 hours away from the start of the match. Some competitors arrived today to set flags and get some practice in. Conditions were overcast with periods of rain. Wind flags were bouncing from red to green. Equipment is under tarps for the evening in anticipation for the morning. See everyone soon.

Flag tails are hanging dead calm this morning. That will change as soon as the commence fire command is given.
