2024 Anderson Creek Sportsmen's Club PA 300-Yard Tack Driver Lite

Andy thanks for bringing some of your long range buddy's to Anderson Creek. I know we can all learn from each other and share skills. You guys are always welcome. Thanks once again for your contribution to our prizes. Remember Attrum for your gunbuilding needs.

Great time yesterday! Thank you folks for putting the match together. All I can say is that it was a humbling match for this long range shooter. My hat is off to the fellas that rose to the occasion. Heat 95+*F, wind, mirage, and high humidity. Who could ask for anything more! I’m definitely going to return to sharpen my short range skills.

The folks at Anderson Creek are fine shooters and are very welcoming to all. I’m looking forward to visiting with you all again soon.

Thank you Mrs Glass for minding the kitchen and your desserts were excellent!!!!
I think Andy captured the conditions very well in his post. It was a challenging day with the Heat, Mirage, and Wind.

Anderson Creek has a way of keeping it exciting for all the competitors and as soon as you think the range is going to sleep, you tap the trigger and realize that was not the case.

I would like to thank everyone that braved the conditions and the heat, I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves.

I would also like to thank those that contributed to the match, your support and donations are greatly appreciated.

A big thanks needs to go out to everyone that helped to run the match. Your help and dedication are what makes the match run smoothly. We were also very happy to have Chef Tom back at the helm this year, with a great spread of food.

Mike Reddin and Joe Stewart have beat on me for many years. Regardless, it was good to see them Sat when I arrived and I knew it was going to be a long day. But, the star of the day in my eyes was our score winner, Bob Kingsberry. Not being a youngster does not mean you can't compete at a high level. My hats off to you Bob, good shooting. I have been going to Andeson Creek for around 30 years. Bob was there winning when I started. I had a shooter who is not a regular say to me yesterday he came because everyone at Anderson Creek is friendly and help each other out. Said he will be back. So hats off also to the regular group that shoot our matches and contribute to the culture.

Go get em Fuj.
Oh, I got em alright !! I got a triple case of "WTF's" !!......For those
that missed the drama......Saturday after fouling, I shot a good
target, with zero issue's and put the rifle away for the next morning's
roast, and I do mean roast !!. My very first target in my first relay, I
had two good hit's followed by a third good one but had some harder
bolt lift. Forth shot tied the gun up.......I was able to fight the bolt open
but could not extract the case. Fernando quickly got me a drop rod,
which crazy enough, was for a 7mm he was also shooting. Well, it did
not work after a few try's. I ran and got my aluminum beater rod, and
promptly bent it, and time ran out. For what it's worth, It's still stuck. I
sprayed some "Yield" down the bore to let it work. I'll check it in a few
days. I'm in no hurry.

So congrats to everyone in the winners column, and especially to that
bald headed, canoe paddle driver......Way to go man ??

There is one more prize coming I know was not announced.......Danielle
Kafana won $20 bucks for kicking Steve's azz......

And Jeremiah ?? Another good show and event.......
