14 twist bartlein barrel( prairie dog rifle project)

A 22BR will do everything a 22/250 will do. Only better......
^^^^^ I'll 2nd that. The 22BR velocity wise is dam near neck and neck with a standard 22-250. Liked my 22BR when I had it. Shot a 22-250AI and a 220 Swift for PD shooting as well... can't say they did any better than the 22BR other than more muscle behind the bullet.

I also ran a 22/250AI for a few years shooting dogs. 10-15 shots and put away to cool. Saw the light. Went smaller .

I have had a Bartlien 1-14 twist barrel and a Savage trued LRP action that have been collecting dust for to long. I was debating on a Swift (short barrel life) or a 223 AI. I own 22BR, 204, 223, 22/250. What’s some opinions please. I am leaning towards the Swift.
Thanks
HAPPY NEW YEAR’S
6BR or 6BRX. Very accurate, long barrel life. You can shoot heavier bullets for long distance work.

I would never be without my 223 AI in a dog town. 50g vmax at 3620 I’ll have to check that, in IMI brass, also 14 twist. My 220 Swift AI is a 8 twist for windy days
