1.4 inch group at 1000 yds

I shot a 1.462 group at 1000 yds at the Midwest Benchrest club in Yukon, MO last Saturday just missing the world record by 1/16 inch or .065 inch. The rifle is a 6 Dasher, BAT SV, Bartlein barrel PR&T 5 inch stock. It is 17 lb LG. Also that day Henry Pasguet shot a 3.3 HG 10 shot group. Ron

Great group!!! Most people can't do it at 100 yards. The Dasher is the way to go!

Congratulations! That is fine accuracy. I would like some more details. What was the barrel twist? Bullet? Powder? Barrel length? Who is your gunsmith?

"THANKS TO ALL". Boyd the barrel is 30 in. and 8 twist. Powder is Long Range Match . It's a pull down powder the same loading specs as RL15. Bullet is a 103 Spencer. Friends of mine, Rich Griffin and Jerry Kloeppel did the chambering and bedding. I luckily pulled the trigger at the right time. Ron
