There was a 2.1?? lg group shot with a 6br Saturday and a 4.039 hg 99 score shot also with a 284. Tough group of shooters at the Ridge !!

300 Short Mags for 1000 yard!

It's funny you said that seen Mike Wilson at Harry Jones shooting his sighter ammo in a 300 WSM in a shoot off smoked about a 1.600 inch group an 4 of them you could cover with a nickel ammo he didn't trust for record rounds but that's all he had left.
I witnessed that first hand.

I am working with a 6.5x47L LG for 1000 yard for my 14 yo son to shoot. I am afraid he may develop a flinch with a WSM.
What I love more than anything about the 300 Short Mags is they stay in tune! I worked that load up back in February and loaded in February to shoot back in March, but Gov. Comrade Pooper shut us down. Try a load you worked up a load in a 6mm in freezing weather then shoot it in August and see what happens (no dont!)

My WSM was super easy to tune and it does stay in tune better than most. December to Aug with the same powder charge..... a little different tuner setting, but easy.
I am shooting the 210 VLDs and another shooter here is shooting the Blake RSAUM AI thingy with 200-20X and he kicked my but last weekend. I may need to look at the hybrids?
