    Good point right there, the difference between gold box and blue box Lapua may even need a different bushing for same neck tension .

    Maybe contact RCBS ? If they made the dies there could be a drawing . Casting the chamber is best , that will be easy to tell what you have . It could be as simple as running 7.62 x 39 into the boomer die .

    Is there a lot of play when the mag is in the gun ? Have you tried seating the mag while the bolt is locked open ? Those 10/22s are fun and frustrating at times.

    Well there goes my theory , that is a real shame Jim . Full disclosure is something some folks neglect . I have never understood that, I go out of my way to point out any imperfections and expect folks to do the same.

    That's a great story , just shows how generous folks can be . I find that's a large majority of the folks on these forums , we have to help each other out to keep everyone going in this hobby. A few bad apples can't bring us all down .

    I feel a much better/safer approach would be to let only paying members in the classifieds . Why should we pay any more than we do now while others do not spend a cent for the same privileges ? Also, a person that has something to lose(membership fee) may not be so quick to not honor their word...

    I don't own one , but my Brother owns 3 of them . Nothing but praise from him , even likes them well enough that he leaves his Semi at home while duck hunting . My Son has sold a few in his shop , the new owners seemed very pleased .
