I’d like to see heavier fines and minimum mandatory time of at least a year behind bars and no more license for 10 years for poachers/ jackers across the board for their first offense then up from there for second offense. That’s a major problem here in upstate NY. It’s frustrating. Then they’ll go around gloating like their great hunters. Makes zero sense to me.

The problem I have with that article is that they twice referred to poaching as "hunting." Once it was 'illegal hunting activities.' I'm sorry, but poaching and hunting are two diametrically opposed activities.
