Thanks Bart. I was just on the site and grabbed their pic of the range layout.
I'm more interested on how close I can park and find close bathroom facilities.
This getting old stuff sucks......LOL

Love to see people excited about getting ready for the match. Lots of new projects people are discussing and building. Still full at 180 shooters and 58 on the waiting list. See you all in October.
MGGOA is a nice range. I wonder if St Louis would ever be interested in holding a "Big Event" Tack Driver match. World class facilities, I think 60 benches.. and centrally located nationally. It could be the next Super Shoot! They certainly have the facilities to do it, easily. Wouldn't need a long waiting list and closer to a lot of people. Can't beat the facilities anywhere. Ben Avery is the only place I know of that should be mentioned in the same breath as St. Louis, facilities wise. For me...I wouldn't have to go through Atlanta!

St. Louis doesn’t have 60 benches that can be used at 300 yards or meters. Dublin is a great facility and welcomed the Tack Driver with open arms. Don't take anything I said as disrespectful to Dublin in the least. Far from it, Jim. Great range and great folks. It's far from anything to do with that.
I'm just looking forward as the match grows is all. How many 300 yard benches does St Louis have? I'm just curious. Your match is hugely successful. Not sure why looking at bigger ranges would be undesirable in the future. It could do what I said, no waiting list and be centrally located to more shooters. How's that a bad thing at all? Did I miss something important?

Nothing important at all. I was just saying that St. Louis only has 20-25 benches that can go past 200 yards. Nothing disrespectful at all and 180 shooters is a whole bunch of people at any one range with benches and all the equipment and flags.

I'd think the logistics with 180 is DAUNTING.
Sounds like there's plenty of satellite TD's to go around. 180 shooters is A LOT!

It's nothing more than a suggestion for a range that can accommodate more shooters without a waiting list. Nothing more and nothing less. Read whatever ya want into that and if that makes ya mad, get over it.
I also know that Mid Tenn has 40 benches that can go to 300 meters but lacks parking, so I didn't suggest there for that reason. Again, nothing against MGGOA. Not even a little bit!

Hold my beer! We normally shoot 7 relays and are finished by 3:30 at the previous events. Let’s see how this year goes and 210 could be possible! Most likely will keep it at 180 but 210 would surely be the most we could ever accommodate without going to a 3 day event.
Thank you Jim! I didn't realize they only have 20-25 benches for 300. That's reason enough, right there. Again, not telling anyone what to do. It was just a suggestion from excitement for how well your match has done. I'm not sure how more was read into what I said. Apparently it made Todd Payseur mad, though. Wow! It's still winter I guess.
