Bergers are the best for sure.Eldms have been pretty inconsistent for me in every caliber I've tried.
I absolutely could not get the 75s to shoot in two different 223 wylde barrels while the 75 vlds shoot one hole.
However I'm currently running 134 eldms in my 25x47 improved with excellent accuracy..But.. I had a few high flyers at my prs match the other week that were about .8 mils high, that was shooting prone too.
I did some testing this weekend and definitely had some totally wild impacts at 975, and 1300 yard, even had a random flyer at 550.
It's concerning enough that I'll switch to 135 lrhts for matches going forward.
As for cost, I broke down the difference between the Eldms and Berger’s in bulk.
It's $165 less per thousand to shoot the 134, considering the cost of everything else and the time loading etc. I think consistency is well worth the price difference.
