6.5x284 savage with long throat suggestions

Hey guys, my brother owed me some money so to help cover the tab he gave me a savage 111 LRH in 6.5x284. He loaded 130gr bergers with h4831sc and was under .5moa. I dont have any 130 bergers and cant find any around. Curious what you guys think would be the way to go with a long jump. I used a hornady OAL tool to measure the bullets I have. I sisnt even bother to measure the 120 class bullets as they would be out of the brass before they touched lands. It will be a hunting rifle so prefer a VLD style hunting bullet but am open to your suggestions. Here is a list of the things on my shelf. Any combo you think or have experience with please let me know. This rifle is new to me and has less than 120 rounds through it. Ok here are my bullets and GOAls.

3.28 130gr TMK
3.18 140gr Nos BT hunting
3.37 140gr A-max
3.25 140gr Seldom
3.28 142gr Nos AB LR
3.25 142gr MK

My measurements might not be perfect but are very close.
Primers I have,
CCI 250
CCI BR-2
FED GM215M
FED 210
S&B 5.3 LRM

Powders I have

MRP
H4350
H4831sc
H4831
RL 17
RL 19
RL 22
IMR 4198
IMR 4350.

I have not loaded the 6.5x284 before. Just kind of curious what you guys recommend running with the long jump. I wish I had some 140 class bergers to try but I am out. Any magic load combo that is a good place to start? I am open to any and all suggestions. Thank you for the help.

I just finished load development with my 6.5 * 284 Norma

140 ELD
53grs. H4831SC
LAPUA BRASS
CCI BR PRIMERS
Coal is 3.111 0.010 off

My straight 284 has a super long throat also.
VLD don't do well at all in it.
The Hornady SST, ELDX, Nosler Ballistic Tip, ABLR all do well.

Has anybody had luck with any of the newer 150 class bullets? It looks like this rifle is a 1in8 twist so not sure how they will run. Just thinking they will get me closer to the lands. Most of my rifles seem to like to be within 10 thousands of the lands with most bullets. I generally start at 10 off and work from there.

I reload for a savage lrh in 6.5x284 I use berger 140 hvld and hornady 143 gr hvld. Just touching the lands with 52.5 gr of 4831sc is my sweet spot. Not much bullet in the brass using a redding bushing die .292 bushing. Work up from around 49grains you will find a very accurate load. 52.5 is max load for me very slight ejector marks. Hunting load for me and have never had an issue with the bullet being sooo far out. Even at .095 off the lands and between it was under an inch

Your savage has LOTS of throat if your loading a Berger VLD or Hornady ELD to just about no bullet in the brass. Your results almost mirror mine except I don't run my bullet as far out. Although my COAL is around 3.25-3.3, I run 51.3 H4831sc for 2975 from a 30" tube. Pretty mild load for the round but .25" is good hunting medicine. Running up to 53 grains gets me nearly 3100 believe it or not. Not the accuracy and less barrel life. Barrel life isn't my concern but for the extra 100 fps or so, it's not worth it.
