I've been using these two stocks for a while now but never got them properly finished. As a thank you for running the 600yd group that I take care of, they all pitched in and surprised me with having @Bc'z finish them both. It was an amazing gesture and I know I'm biased but I've never seen two more beautiful stocks.

All I can tell you is they came back absolutely stunning as you would expect from Brett. He's a master artist for sure.

Thank you John!!
It was a pleasure working with you on these projects, I hope I got all the the little things done that were a concern.
I must admit if never used 50 grit disk and a angle head grinder on a stock before. Lol looks like I got the comb raked back enough for bolt removal ease.
You have a awesome crew that you shoot with for sure.
Remember the "paint node" is real !!

Brett , if you jump on that kind of wood with 50 grit. I sure would not worry about my walnut stock. You will see it when I save enough of the pension checks. Poor Cop's, sorry. Great work as always Master !

I had to get aggressive with them I brought the top of the comb back about 1/2" to the mark John indicated, then blocked and shaped with 80 grit.
It was a lil intimidating on the first stock. Lol.
Is Zack building that rifle for ya?
