It appears the cook and bottle washer on BRC is getting ready to boot the turd again Butch. I wonder what the next user name will be? The members there are fed-up with him.

My smith ordered two custom laminate stocks from a well known maker back in October 2013. One for me and another customer. All was well then the stock maker just dropped off the earth. Numerous attempts to contact him by both of us with no reply. Put my build off for 5 months because of him!!!! Never heard a word back to this day. So....I went with a McMillan. Lesson learned my friends !

I've played the waiting game before, but now in stock is more important than have things exactly how I want it, and special ordering it.

I've been lucky in locating parts for the rifle I'm currently having built, but some of that is accepting that I won't have things exactly how I'd want it:

• Kelbly's had a RBLP F-class Panda in stock, it has the dovetail scope base instead of Picatinny but I could live with it
• PR&T had a properly I legged Lowboy F-class stock in stock, it is black on black, it looks really good but if it was a perfect world I'd rather have something more colorful, but I could live with it
• Both bugholes.com and bullets.com had 32" 7mm Bartleins barrels in stock, I ordered two from bugholes because I've ordered numerous barrels from him before
• Larry D. Scott had the Jewell trigger in stock
• After doing some research on brand and height of rings, Sinclair had the rings I needed in stock

I was able to locate, reorder, and receive all these parts in the month of May.
