Any recommendation on a source for a bullet spinner? Can we see some examples?

After doing a bit of research, you can find a drawing by Paul Gottschall for one in Precision Shooting March 1964.
Also look in May & June 1965
A jacket spinner and lathe are shown in July 1965

Has anyone used any of the newer Sierra jackets? I recently had some pretty good success with bullets I made on some Sierra .810 jackets from 2004 but I made the last of those jackets up. I emailed Sierra and they sent me a 2025 jacket price list. Their 6mm jackets are a little more expensive than the 2025 j4 jackets that I have on order but what really matters is the end result on the target.

A year ago, I received a batch of Sierra .30s with a length of 1.220".
The jackets were very greasy and had a strange color; they looked oxidized,(for lack of a more appropriate term) with a very reddish-brown color.
After washing with detergent and citric acid, they had the same appearance as the J4s. And the bullets were excellent, and I had fewer folded tips than with the J4.

Appears so. They offer 6mm in .790, .800,.810 and .825.

Shot my own bullets at the NBRSA Score Nationals and was very pleased with their performance. The points and x’s I lost were all on me.
Thank you for all the posts here that helped me get to this point in making bullets. I doubt I would be anywhere this point without this string.

Presses are pretty much completed. Just need to machine end of ram for punches. I'll do that once I get a set of LR dies.

Thank You, George! Here are some snaps of The Ulrich bullet swage press set-up and ready to run a few thousand thirty Cal. bullets. George had advised an initial mount angle of 45* - and, "boy was he wrong" . . . until I made it 27.5, only to learn that, 'just maybe', George was/is correct! That said, the Hood air assisted presses are positioned at about 27.5* - they are a very good, but different animal.

This press is ROCK SOLID, 'SILKY SMOOTH', and with more than adequate leverage - I'll know a lot more following today's 'real work' session. Once i acquire the materials, I'll make an adjustable angle mount. This press will accommodate a wide variety of positioning. RG

P.S. for comparison, here are a couple of the Meister/Ulrich clones of the original B&A swage press (i have & use three of these): for all operations, up to 6mm, these presses are GREAT! For thirty Cal., though very good for core-seating, when it comes to pointing, they are disappointingly short on leverage.

GREASE & OIL are your friends . . . except on jackets, where lubrication is a necessary evil.

Speaking of presses, has anyone measured how much it flexes when producing larger caliber bullets (, 30 caliber heavy bullets)?

I spoke with sierra today. I was told that once a jacket order is placed, as soon as they begin the next production of those jackets they fill that order. So, no order deadline but no specific production estimate either.
