Richards Microfit, pictures?

I have on order a Richards Microfit Benchmark stock in Walnut, have grand plans for it. This will be my second Richards, the other is a Field Trekker.

Anyone have pictures of other Richards to share? Another Benchmark would be really cool. Also finished colors of their laminates?

Mine completed rifle.

I tried the best I could to get a Remington 540 stock from Richards, The folks I spoke with acted like I was talking a different language and said they would have some call me. Crickets !! I would love to get a stock for my Rem 540. The walnut on the 10-22 looks nice.

spitfire-er, which model stock is that? Also love that stippling. I think I need you to educate me on that! What finish did you use?

I have a 541T stock sitting here that I'm going to use as a pattern for a 581 leftie someday

Varmint Master w/o the vents. Finish is pro-custom gunstock oil. Takes a long time, but it's what I'm use to using. That was my first attempt at stippling.

Here's a few more richards stocks. Depending on how much work you want to put into them, they can be really nice or so-so.
-Dual grip thumbhole in Rosewood Lam
-Straight line Thumbhole walnut (was a "seconds" discounted stock)
-Straight line Thumbhole red/gray lam
-Field Trekker Tac stock in blue/gray that has been waiting for over a year for me to get to. Not a fan of the finger grooves, or the palm clearance, but this one will get re-shaped a little.

I think both turned out fabulous. So far I have only used Tru-Oil. Have also been following the topic here "Red Oil"
What tool did you use for the stipple? I think I want to try it on a test piece.
Also thought about using the "Black Widow" red as I have a Boyd's red laminate but again decided to go Walnut.

A hammer and a 10 penny finish nail. 16 penny might be a little easier on the fingers though. I had to do it over several days, with the grip and the 4 panels up front it probably took me 5-6 hours. I've posted this video before but shows the process. Pretty boring to do.

I quit using tru-oil, it will distort the color of some laminates. I did a dual thumbole richards stock that was a gray laminate. Turned it into a greenish hue which I left because to strip it was too much work and it's grown on me.
