Leupold Varmint Hunter reticle subtensions at full power?

Has anyone mapped out the substention in MOA of the VH reticle on a 6.5-20 VX3 when set to full power? I found the table they publish but that is with setting of 15x/16x on for the "small bullet". I leave mine at 20x and would like to be able to quickly use the drop table I've worked up with the corresponding elevation tick.
I was going to put a graduated scale/target up at 100 and 200 yards to map it out but I didn't get it done and I will be leaving tomorrow morning, so times run out. The table they give is usable, but not optimal. I'm zeroed at 200yds with a 222rem shooting 50gr Zmax at 3250fps. The 100yd increment drops seem to jibe pretty well with the Leoupold table but if I can I'd like to run it at 20x. The dogs are rarely sitting at 100 yd increments, I would really like to know what the MOA for the 300/400/500 ticks are to get a true elevation reference at 20x.

Yeah, I will get the hang of it by trial and error, but would like to minimize that as much as I can. I'm running for different rifles with different scopes so I'll probably end up confusing myself doing conversions if it isn't close to point and shoot.
 
I run what could be called a hybrid version using the VHR.

I have the Leupold M1 elevation turret factory installed on all my primary rat rifles that have the VX3 6.5-20X LR scope. I'm a 'dialer', so in the rat patch, it's locate the target and range it, consult the come-up chart in the ocular scope cover, make the needed adjustment in the turret, hold dead-on, allow for wind hold-off and.....shoot.

It works very, very well, but when the shooting is really hot and I'm shooting an area full of targets, no need to dial for each shot, just use the VHR for those shots that require little adjustment. The wind 'ticks' in that reticle are also very nice to have and work well also.

My Sako M75 Varmint 204 with a dual chart for the 32gr and 39gr SBK. All data is in MOA that translates perfectly to the turret hash marks.

Edit: I'll clarify that I make my come-up charts using Sierra Infinity 6 and make each one specific to the actual chrono'd load data, bullet BC and corrected for the usual elevation and environmental conditions I find there at the time of year I shoot there. Not complicated and has been completely spot-on in all the years I've been doing this.

It's been a while since I did this but, the easiest way is to hang a tape measure at 100 yds. I still use strelok and it gives sub tension distances for any power setting for the cartridge chosen.
 
With your info with a 100 zero, on 20X,

The 1st line is 1.81 MOA down, which is 230 yards
2nd line is 4.13 MOA, which is on at 325 yards
3rd line is 7.02 MOA, which is on at 420 yards
Last half line is 9.35 MOA, which is 480 yards

i just ran the numbers for 200 yd zero 1st line is 272, 2nd line is 350, 3rd line is 430 and the last line is 487. but depends on temp. and altitude and scope height.

I've run the JBM data for my load out to 600 yards and have that. Made sure to put in the measured scope height because that can make a difference. I have a solid 200yd zero for the main cross bar.

I don't think that is correct for 20x but is for 15x? The large bullet drop diamond on the power selector ring is at ~15x and those numbers in the table are only valid for that power level. Because it is a second focal plane scope, when you crank the power, the MOA between the lines change.

So those numbers are for my 50gr/3250fps load? How did you determine the MOA of the graduations at 20x? If you used the MOA given for the VX6-HD illuminated version of the reticle, that won't work for me. It has one additional graduation and as far as I know, the MOA between each is not the same for the VX3 version.

This is what they have on their website and I don't think it is correct for mine. Mine looks like the picture alf has in his posting.

I'm not sure, I just sold my 1 & only 20x VHR, all I have left are 4.5-14's, which have the large diamond on full power.

Best way to check is to measure off 100 yards, & use a yardstick to measure the lines on 20X, & figure your drops from there.

If your reticle has an extra line, that was the Long Range VHR that was short lived. The guy I just I talked to at Leupold had never heard of it before, made it sound like I was making it up.

I didn't calculate the moa, just giving distances shown on strelok
 
The last couple of years I've transitioned to FFP & MRAD for my prairie dog rigs so I can run on any power and use my same holds, plus have more aiming points when stretching things out.

Depending on exact cartridge & load, each half mil is in 50 yard increments with a 200 zero.

I've seen the extra line in one of mine, probably an older model. I've learned something new.

I use Chairgun Elite reticle analysis feature. It will adjust the yardages when you change the scope power input. Spot on with my 223 shooting VMaxes. This is on prairie dogs where my phone is handy and not for big game hunting.
 
I usually don't use 20X in the prairie dog towns.
222 is a poor choice for dog shooting at distance over 300 yards.
