It sure is ! I’ve been cleaning up little details for days and now I’ve gone as far as I can. The good part is I picked up a 3” bench grinder that came in really handy for trimming actions screws and buffing down one side of the trigger guard.

I believe they are aluminum, I’d ask the dude that made it but we’re not really communicating right now.

I've done that to a few people and now dnt hear or see them at my front door anymore .

in the last two stocks i did ive done the pillars out of devcon. i think it will work better. of coarse they are target stocks so i dont care if they dont look pretty and a little devcon shows

This is the little bench grinder I picked up, it works pretty well for small stuff like action screws.

I didn’t think about it, it did come with a fine stone and wire brush wheels.

Scotchbrite wheels are really nice for smoothing and blending surfaces. Once you've tried it, you will wonder how you lived without it.
They're pricey, but the knock off brand wheels work pretty good, too, and are 1/2 the price.

Howa mini in 7.62x39 getting some Tiger Maple.

I screwed up. The barrel channel wasn’t deep enough. Removed another 1/8” and took a pic. Then I cut for the trigger, magazine, bolt release, etc. and drilled for the pillars. Waxed up the action and bedded it. Then I screwed up again! I forgot to take a pic! Oh well!
