Isn't the 1˚ pretty bullet specific? Didn't he post that using it with other bullets may not be desirable? I may be recalling incorrectly thus why I ask.It doesn't look bad, but the neck is "generous" for my ADG brass. It also has the 1-30 lead, vs the AW 1-00 degree lead. Has anyone on here tested the 1-30 and the 1-00 besides Alex?
I believe that to be true. I started out with the 1 degree. It played very well with the 180 Hybrid. The 183 Sierra, not so much.Isn't the 1˚ pretty bullet specific? Didn't he post that using it with other bullets may not be desirable? I may be recalling incorrectly thus why I ask.
I'm running that same velocity, although with N-160, and my brass is holding up just fine. No clickers or bolt lift issues. Primer pockets are still snug after 9 or so cycles. I'm using Lapua, but I have some of the ADG and I wouldn't expect much difference in longevity. It's excellent brass, too.I have the Wheeler reamer with the 1.0 anyway here’s my conundrum. Over three barrels, one I’ve put up as a hummer, Ive found it shoots really well at 2850-60 and then lights out at 2930. Its been said that over 2900 is too hot etc. Jim Borden has said over 2900 is too hot…..I had an SD of 6.3 and under 15 FPS over 25 rounds with the 2930+ load and it was reallt tight at 1000. I am shooting VV 555 and 180 Bergers.. ADG brass…, anyway how fast is too fast? Ive not had pressure signs. What are ya’ll getting out of it….?

8.5 32 inch, I’ve shot 1 Krieger, 1 Bartlein1 Brux and each was great. One was specialWhat twist is your barrel?
Have you tried the Berger 184’s?I believe that to be true. I started out with the 1 degree. It played very well with the 180 Hybrid. The 183 Sierra, not so much.
I'm still somewhat new to the 7mms, but I have learned the 180s are the easy button in 7mm. My opinion, but I'll bet there are quite a few that will agree with that. I have 184s on hand, along with some 180 gr. Lapua Scenars, 183 gr. SMKs and 190 gr. Hornady A-Tips. I haven't spent much time trying to develop loads for these bullets because the results with the 180 Hybrids have been so good. I have a decent load for the 184s and N-165 that I'll shoot without hesitation if I start running low on the 180s, but the supply has been pretty reliable of late.Have you tried the Berger 184’s?
Currently using them in a 280AI at 2830, jumped 30k, 4831SC & getting low SD’s and when the barrel goes I will transition to 7PRCW as I have the bolt, reamer, dies and brass but have yet to decide if I should lay in the 180’s or stick with the 184’s…
Had previously run them at 2740-50 with less sterling results but getting them up nearly another 100fps and suddenly they really started to shine…
Recently put down a 118.14 at 800yds so I know that they can perform, just seems that many folks are using the 180 Hybrid in the 7PRCW.
what is a good starting point for charge with the n160 I'm looking at it because of the price and availability.I'm running that same velocity, although with N-160, and my brass is holding up just fine.
