New SEB Smallbore Rest

I'm seeing with mine a little narrow, if your high up with the adjustments. will be using the two front screw holes and mount a 1" wide x1/2 thick aluminum plate maybe 8- 10" c/c on front screws over the 6" c/c of rest itself. My joy stick seems real stiff, need to loosen it up so it swings like my Seb Neo. Other than that for myself...its a nice rest !

Just to clarify, these latest units include the upgraded top?
Unfortunately it is still only for the standard top plate. The adjustable top is still at least 2/3 months away. I am trying my best to get them out as soon as possible but there are still a few production details to kink out as the front bag is also a new design.

i'm a old man and not real good with ordering on wed sites i would like to order one these rest what do i have to do . and how do i pay ?
Thank you for your help in answering Gene, those who are based in the United States could also order through Ernie Bishop who's the official dealer of SEB through his email ernieemily@yahoo.com or contact me through DM. I have replied your message just now.

If you would like to adjust the resistance of your joystick action to your liking, you could do so by adjusting this M4 set screw.

You would have to remove your front bag first and unscrew an M8 set screw.
**Please make sure the top plate is clean of debris or sand before you open the M8 set screw to prevent debris falling into the internal chamber.

You would then see an M4 set screw that controls the rotational and translational resistance of your joystick. Try loosening it just ever so slightly (1 scope click increment) as it's a very sensitive adjustment. Make sure there's still enough rotational resistance on the joystick so it doesn't spin around wildly.

If you don't mind sharing, could you let us know what discipline are you shooting and why you prefer the Mini-X for your shooting needs?
Chris,
First, I only shoot RFBR. When I bought the AR250 I had a 3” fore stock rifle, and a rifle with a 3” adapter. I bought a Factory class rifle and the Mini-X top works better with the narrow stock. Besides I saw a new Mini advertised for a good price and I just bought it.

Thank you for sharing, I am aware that my standard top plate is poorly suited for factory class rifles which is why I am pushing for the new adjustable top plate to come out as soon as possible.

I haven't used my AR-250 for several months due to snow, cold etc. I went to look at it the other day and the joystick movement was rather stiff and sluggish. I remembered this same feeling when I first received mine and the advice I was given proved true. Take a few seconds or a minute to just run the joystick all over its travel and it will loosen up nicely. Mine did just that.
