Sanding belts

I need to get some more 6 X 48 belts and wondered what everyone liked?

It really depends on what you'll use them for. Each type of material you may want to sand can require a different grit size and sometime a different material for either the backing or the type of grit. Selection of the right belt can get a little complicated depending on the job.

I’ve used the Red Label noted above and Empire Abrasives for belts.

I bought a brand new 4 incher the other day. Installed it and flipped the switch and the glue joint popped apart on the first revolution.

Maybe I should go get the brand name so I can un-recomend it. jd

I have always bought through LeHigh Valley abrasives. Generally better prices and great quality.
EDIT: I don't see 6x48s on their site.

Good night!! You have a 6 x 48 belt sander?
