Post Office is overwhelmed

In Arizona a mail carrier makes $21.00 per hour. The USPS is way to FAT on top. If they payed the carriers more and all the other workers that actually work, it might be different

A letter carrier from my post office, was arrested recently for organizing and running a check theft ring. He is charged with over $1million in theft. Looks like side jobs pay well if you are employed by the usps.

One of my friends works for USPS. He said they have shut down a number of organized theft rings in the hubs that process mail. We have had multiple Letters with gift cards get stolen on the way down to Texas from Iowa. We always send with a tracking number now, In a different package not a card envelope and we never waste our money on 3 expedited mail. Normal mail gets there just as fast, if its going to get there at all. Lol

It does make one wonder why the tracking is promoted, when it just seems to make it obvious how bad any shipping business can be.

They cost me a 30k fence job one time by losing a check for a gate operator . On the other hand it would be nice if this was the only thing wrong with this country !

The last time I was in OK, i was shocked to see a cannabis store on damn near every corner. I was under the impresssion OK was a conservative state and was amazed to see this had happened. Apparently these outfits have pet "doctors" on call to sign off on any medical need application..

"Conservative".... Hmmm. What does that even mean any more? Certainly does not mean Christian morals.

Oklahoma is not Christian. It's something else... Run by another group. A group that loves Casinos and drugs. They are not from here. They most likely hate Oklahomans.

Ps: if you want these dispensaries they never have any customers. None of them. No cars in the parking lots pretty much ever. No. These things are here for some other purpose. I'm assuming money laundering.

Package from midwayusa.com is circling Illinois. Tracking said it made it to my post office and was immediately sent back to po distribution center for 3rd time. Went to local po , she was in denial that there was a problem be patient. Midwayusa.com customer service said wait 11 business days then they can file claim. Should have bought ammo with order then would have been UPS

you all complain about the USPS but what do you expect when you pay them a non living wage. This is just the beginning of the trouble with the Americas work force. No one wants to work. Between the trust fund babies and all the other entitled people. The US government has to hire all these people because they have no choice because of the people running our country and their policies. I would never send a package or anything else, if I had a choice ,with the USPS. Look at the volume of junk mail. That should tell you something is wrong

I live in rural eastern Oregon. A lot of the mail carriers are contractors using their own cars. Our little post office is pretty helpful and seems well run, it's the same two or three workers all day every day. We don't have residential mail delivery so everyone's daily mail goes to a post office box at that office. (I'm thinking about 500 boxes)
Something I think about is that about 90% of the mail that gets handled is junk that goes straight to the trash. jd

I have sent some packages out to people from the beginning of the week They are still sitting in the P/O according to the tracking numbers.
Talked to the Post Master and they stated due to the storms a huge backlog is staged and with Columbus Day on Monday.
The backlog grows.
I understand this. So please all be patient waiting for your stuff.

If the post office could distribute regular and priority mail like is does junk mail... oh, wait. Junk mail is regular and priority mail. It's all the "other stuff" that has no priority.

Made the mistake of ordering a set of Teslong borescope mirrors from Teslong last Tuesday. Here is the path they have traveled so far."Expected" delivery this coming Tuesday. IF they arrive on time it will have taken a week to get form Irvine, California to Albuquerque, NM!
Should have ordered them from Amazon.
