Sorry to high jack the thread, but what does the 25x47 bring to the table?
I see a few PRS shooters going to it.

Its just something we are playing with. I think it has a place in the LR BR game. Time will tell. There was only 2 on the line at DC this year. There will be a lot more next year and we'll see how it goes.

Does the white make it (how do I say ) brighter or more reflective looking through the scope? Kind of like when you are next to a white vehicle or wall the light reflecting off it is almost blinding. Wondering if it helps clarity or disperses light in the scope from the brighter surrounding.

Good question. I dont know how Id be able to test that. I dont notice anything obvious.

On a very calm day make a cover for the whole gun with a cutout for the scope, out of something like black crape paper. Look at the target with and without the cover, that should give you an idea of the difference, if any.
