Ingenuity Precision production unit overview

CE has some tips. Another that was mentioned elsewhere was keep other electronics away from the unit, I think they said 6ft or more and don't forget about your cell phone as for many of us it's in a pocket.

see last entry, bottom of page

Harder to do this one ... since the ATv4 needs the phone for control.
yeah and I haven't seen any issues when my phone is just a couple feet away on the bench. I'm guessing most folks having issues it's something specific to their location or setup verses those that don't.

Yep, I agree on both points.

I guess I got lucky since the WattFun IS a pure sane wave

320W/Peak 640W Powerful Power Station 298Wh: This solar generator has 2*DC ports(12V/4A); 2*Pure Sine Wave AC Power Socket(110V/320W);

Although designs change-
The 330w is what I use- it last 4 days running the A&D -V3 at LRBR matches w/o charging it…!!

When electricity goes out here @ home-
I use it to power the starlink, & run a fan..& TV..
I since got another one to power more stuff..

The 100w only last 1 day @ a NBRSA match-
The 330 last 3 days @ NBRSA match…

How would the average guy know the difference ?

When buying it new, or after the fact? If it has it, they'd advertise it. It's definitely more costly.

If you have an oscilloscope, you can test it. Since you're asking, it's a safe assumption that you don't have one.

If you plug a transformer / wall wart, and it runs abnormally hot, it's not a pure sine wave. Also, DC motors (like the ATv4 dispenser) may not like it.

Here's a picture of the output differences, through a scope:

If you want to avoid this problem, you find a power center that would output the DC voltages you need and find the appropriate plugs to connect to you device ... just be mindful that some things are reverse polarity.

Is the power supply particularly dodgy in the US or is just some areas, such as more rural, that get issues? I can't remember a blackout or brownout here (UK) since the strikes in the 70's. Getting the candles was quite cool for a kid, not so much now!

No, not particularly. I would note that the us is 9.6M sq km .... it's hard to generalize. In my area, it's rock solid. In areas with a lot of overhead power lines it can be less reliable. But this isn't really about up and down power events, it's about the cleanliness when it's normal. The in-house wiring setup can introduce issues too.

Down here in south Florida summer months are horrible as far as power outages goes, we have a ton of heavy T storms and lightning, brownouts are very frequent and that was a main reason I got the portable power supply, all my electronics are protected that's just the price we have to pay for living in paradise.

I don't know. My Fx120i rezeros automatically when it drifts. Mine is also just plain on a wooden desk with no special anti-static stuff.

Try for yourself. Drop one kernel of Varget at a time every second or so and stop when the balance reads more than 0.02. Then remove the kernels from the cup and place the cup back on the balance to see what the screen says. To double check, zero with the cup on and then weigh all the kernels at the same time.

The only time it does not auto-zero is when the screen reads more than 0.04gr or less than -0.04gr and leave it for a few hours.

There is a way you can switch this feature off, but that would be stupid.

So those that say the FX120i shows drift after it's been zero'd either played with the settings or wants to slag the FX for some reason.
I've looked through the A&D120fxi manual numerous times, and supplemental manual for the Supertrickler V1 and V2 and ATV3/V4...

Nowhere is there a setting for auto-zero.

Can you point this out to us?

This would be a game changer since I have multiple A&D scales and Ingenuity Precision setups for automated reloading.
