Old savage 110 243 rebuild

That looks like one of the older savages that have the bolt nose recess like a Remington. If that is the case a standard Savage prefit is not going to work on that one. You will need to have a barrel fitted or may be able to find one on Numrich that would work.
Thanks. Yes it is, used a profit barrel from a 111 and rechambered it. Looking for the flat rear bolt baffle now.

Thanks. This kne states after 1999, so just assuming this one won’t fit?

I think yours would be a flat rear action. Numrich might have the rear baffle.

Here's a couple round rear baffles:
I think you are right. I believe it would be the flat one. Might be harder to find than I think.

Here's a link to figure out when it was made: https://www.savageshooters.com/showthread.php?60032-Dating-Serial-Numbers-with-a-Letter-Prefix

BTW, that site would be a great resource. There's tons of information and a bunch of knowledgeable people there.

I think the round baffle would just look a little off, but still function. I also think that milling the flat would only take a few minutes. But please confirm that with someone that knows more than me.
