There are other good ones but these are my favorites.
That French based movie was Special Forces very good movie showing the bond between soldiers in small units. An Act of Valor is good too. there is a series called Lioness that is really good too similar to Special Forces.I like all/most of the movies listed above.
Are movies like Hurt Locker, American Sniper a different "genre"? Conflict vs campaign?
The one where a french platoon was trying to save/transport a civilian gal across Afghan mountain passes was good to, can't remember the name but the black guy from blood diamond was in it.
