New Garmin Xero C1 Radar Chronograph

One thing I noticed is I couldn't down load the app until I had the device in hand and turned on. That was with an iPhone. Hopefully that might be your problem.
Samsung S8 is not compatible because it is not running a full Android version but a variation of Android (Go edition). I have the same S8; will wait for new S24 to come out so I can buy the S23 discounted.

Just got my E-mail that mines in the mail just in time for post-turkey ballistics checks.

PLEASE DISREGARD INFO ON SCREEN, WE WERE SHOOTING SEVERAL GUNS INCLUDING A 300 BO SUB SONIC AND A 204 RUGER OVER 4000 FPS.

I too have a Samsung S8. Didn't really want a new phone. Us old folks don't look forward to a new phone like the kids and grandkids do. So I bought a Cheap Digiland tablet on E$ay. Has androind 11 operating system. Search for Digiland DL1036 $49.99 including shipping. PM me and I will give you link if interested. Shotview loaded and works great. Was also able to install my Sierra loading manual. A lot easier to see than on my phone. Here are some pictures of what I have. I am sure other CHEAP tablets would work as well. Should be a lot on sale fort black Friday. Not saying this is the way to go, but it is working for me.
Safe shooting

I was able to do an update on my PC using Garmin Express. I just bought a new note pad that runs a 11 operating system. My son is going to transfer all the data from old to new Thurs. I will know in the morning good or bad. Thanks.

Looks like you have a lot of high SD numbers.

I have the same rest but, I only used one leg. It really doesn't take much to hold them.
I may do another or modify this one. It would be nice to be able to fold the mount inboard for packing. As it is now, I'd have to remove it completely. I thought having it perpendicular to the rifle's axis would be worthwhile, but maybe not so much.

I got mine today from Bass Pro. They go in and out of stock on their website. I used a 10% off code and I used Active Junky which will get me 7% cashback. I had some points on my Cabela's Visa that I also used.

I posted this in the Q&A forum, but thought some of you might be interested here. I noticed very high velocities when initially trying my Garmin with 17hmr and 22lr. My ocd set in and had to compare it with the old prochrono. Here are the results. Shot for shot tracked pretty consistently, and the slower prochrono numbers seem plausible at 8ft from muzzle.

We tested mine against the Magneto and the Lab. This was across several different rifles .22 to a 50BMG.
The Garmin was always near 5 fps slower than the Magneto. 10 fps slower than the Lab.

All three units were very consistent.

I have noticed a few TESTS of the Garmin that seemed to focus on finding what it won't do.

The Garmin just plain works!!
