Vista Outdoor Sells Ammo Company Holdings

All I can say is will never buy another CCI primer until there price reflects reality. I will stick with communists Russian primers 1/2 the price and better.

The only concern I have about this ; is that as the Political situation continues to collapse around the world , These are foreign entities that now control American companies . Consider that "THEY" could decide to cut off all supplies to the American markets , if it is the best interest of their own Governments and European political agendas . Just something to think about , when you go to buy any primers , and NONE are available .

Go buy your lifetime supply of primers. Do it now. Don't wait.

We've had enough reasons to do this in the past 20 years, this should have already been learned in the past 20'ish years.

Agree with you completely on this . I'm in pretty good shape primer-wise , adding my age into the equation , but hopefully , your comment will spur others to take care of their business before that could happen . Don't see a "NEED" for any panic buying , but I agree . Always believed in the axiom , "Rather have it and not need it ! Than "NEED" it and not have it !

Guys are going to bitch no matter what the prices are. Starting another panic buying spree isn’t going to lower prices or make components easier to find.

Does anyone know the status of Alliant in all of this? Maybe if they dont have to keep supplying the ammo makers we'll get a little powder at better prices?

The conspiratorial side of me is very worried. If these folks (CSG/CZ) were encouraged/forced to stop distribution to the USA this would accomplish more than the state anti-gun governors could ever dream of. They can try to ban certain firearms and tax the crap out of gun sales but if ammo nearly completely disappears...

Hey, NAMMO owns us and we are growing in the US and worldwide. Many other European companies have constructed factories in the US and more may be coming. They see a great market opportunity here and are spending money to service it. It may be a better thing than we think.
Yeah, NAMMO owns Berger now. Prices increased and supply went down. Where’s the good? I liked it better when Berger was Berger. I won’t even bring up the rimfire and brass situation from NAMMO.

Yep! Berger sold us,that made them, right down the road.....sadly it appears that Sierra has done the same.....

Not true. What we are experiencing is the fact that HUGE existing back orders suck the supply lines dry when product comes in. ( SEE RIMFIRE REMARK) . We HAVE ADDED ON AVERAGE 3 NEW BULLET MACHINES A YEAR THE LAST 3 YEARS. We are not standing still here with production. Same for the LAPUA /SK RIMFIRE PRODUCTION. Without NAMMO we could not have done this. You have to realize that the Europeans want into this HUGE market and they are not shy about spending money. Their European market is very small compared to the US market.

We're spoiled gun brats in this country. Go abroad. Some countries you'll pay $12.00 U.S. a loaded round. Bullets, brass and powder? Forget about it. My bud in South Africa had one powder choice, VV565, for his 300WM. To rebarrel it, he had to turn in the old one.
