Vista Outdoor Sells Ammo Company Holdings

I hate being a pessimist, but I was involved in three company buy outs during my professional career, all three times I was with the company that got bought and although all three had nothing to do with the shooting sports, all buy out three went horribly bad for me, my fellow workmates, and the company I had been with.

I just have a bad feeling about this, perhaps it's nothing, I hope so, but it seems that the shooting sports are under constant attack.

I spent 20 years in management with K Mart. I was one of about 10% that remained employed after the Sears buyout. 6 years later I retired, just in time to watch the collapse I knew was coming.
Then on to Academy Sports. When the old man died, the kids quickly sold the company. Again, I knew what was coming. Wholesale changes to benifits, micro management. It's a lousy company to work for. I left after 11 years.

Not true. What we are experiencing is the fact that HUGE existing back orders suck the supply lines dry when product comes in. ( SEE RIMFIRE REMARK) . We HAVE ADDED ON AVERAGE 3 NEW BULLET MACHINES A YEAR THE LAST 3 YEARS. We are not standing still here with production. Same for the LAPUA /SK RIMFIRE PRODUCTION. Without NAMMO we could not have done this. You have to realize that the Europeans want into this HUGE market and they are not shy about spending money. Their European market is very small compared to the US market.
Well.......we didn't have the problems getting Berger bullets before....

You can add all the "production" you want but using that production for loaded ammo doesn't help us hand loaders a bit.

And then lapua brass goes the same way....that isn't near the slap in the face though.....lapua,was never an American company.......us American hand loaders of course did a whole lot to put them on the map though.....

We didn't have another 2 million or so shooters added so quickly or demand as high as it is before either. The whole industry was caught by the Obama AND Biden demand spikes.

Is it true that 223/5.56 loaded ammo is going back up in price? and some other componets as well?
Just watch a U tube video saying as much and much more.
