Liberty Safe -- Issue with Access Codes

While you may not like buying from a company owned by libs, Liberty can't lock you out of your digital safe. If you have them delete your Master Code, it would take a hacker or a safe cracker (both teen aged) to get in if you lost your code.
Now I'm wondering if my refrigerator or washer/dryer has a back door code.

For those of you with Alexa devices try this;
Call your land line, have the answering machine pick up, and say Alexa, unlock front door.
I don't have a digital door lock.
It works with Alexa, turn off light 1.
Life in the digital world.
That's scary.... Anything that makes your life easier can be used to make a criminals life easier.... Remember when computers were going to make life soooo much easier.... Now people can't read a clock , drive a standered or do simple math which is somehow racist now... It kills me that if the computer goes down you can't even buy groceries.... Used to be done with a pencil and a piece of paper.... Unfortunately people aren't smart enough for that super hard addition and subtraction math anymore.... At 55 years of age I have at one time lost everything in a huge forest fire and managed with a wheelbarrow and shovel , chainsaw and some string literally to mark off where to put the new structure and dig myself out of the ashes... Somehow my wife and I did everything and 4 months later were sleeping inside in a bed.... We literally dug ourselves out of the ashes with no collage degree having never done anything like that.... But people can't make it with a perfect life , job , all the school money can buy etc.... we're doomed folks...

I wonder how many safes some are going to be not buying or using when they discover every safe maker has a means to open one of their safes, if required to do so.
Liberty only did this due to LE having a search warrant on a individual, who by the way, from reports is charged with several felonies and contacted Liberty to open a safe, which they did.
Search warrant or Court Order would require any maker to do so, of possible face charges themselves.

Check the laws of the land people.

Apple devices.
I'm not so sure about that.

What Liberty posted seems reasonable on the surface, but it sure is chicken $#!T to have that happen to you when you use a safe for security. IMO, it seems unconstitutional for a vendor to give that out to ANYONE other than the owner. Liberty safes are not all that great. The FBI could probably torch the lock apart if they needed to.

What was your previous handle? I know….off topic but it’s been driving me nuts!

There is always a backdoor of some kind. Even if you have to do a master reset to factory, which over rides everything you changed and resets back to factory. Work on things like that everyday. You loose all the setup that was in it and it then defaults to factory settings. Cell phones, PCs are all the same. If you know what you are doing. There may only be one person that knows what they are doing, but if/when you find them, they can do it...

Agian, you may loose everything that was custom set (password) but it can/ will be accessible when done.

Just like target, bud lite, Carhart, and the 20 million other things that conservatives have boycotted in the past...this too shall pass, and they will be fine. Seriously though, has boycotting ever sunk a company?
They/we have boycotted so many things I often forget where and what goods I’m not supposed to buy. Hell, I drank a coke today, but I remember they did somthing I didn’t like but cant remember.

I’m all for boycotting by the way, but my point is this. This company doesn’t care, nor did any of the others. They will weather the storm and continue their shady antics.

One day soon I will be principled enough to not shop at these retailers that wrong the American people. Unfortunately that list is pretty small.

Kevin, at one time not very long ago I would have agreed with you. But we are finally starting to see boycotts work. I have no idea why they seem to be working now but not in the past. They work for the libs, but we just never seem to make it happen in the past. I think with Bud Light, the difference is a mothers group was motivated to step in, and when it was proven that it worked more joined in.

Honestly it's not Bud light and Target that should be boycotted. It should be Blackrock and Vanguard. What they're doing is illegal, and should be stopped. What they're doing is a clear violation of antitrust laws that are clearly established to not allow obvious monopolies. Which is what has happened. Using the cover of COVID no doubt.

What they've done makes Rockefeller's Standard Oil monopoly look like a popcorn fart.

Yes but we don't do business with Blackrock or Vanguard, and the moron in chief and all of his handles want this more than oxygen. the only way to cancel them is through the companies they control unfortunately.

My business would be with the investment company, and I have little or no say about how they invest. I find it appalling that some company can push their agenda on the whole country and face almost zero repercussions from anyone.

If you want to have a running screaming fit, check out what teacher retirement funds are invested in. My wife taught school here in Arkansas for 25yrs, during the years Clinton was governor all of the different state retirement funds (teacher, state police, highway dept, ect) got "RE"invested into all sorts of rainbows and warm fuzzies. Same thing with liberal city governments on a smaller scale. These folks can teach you new ways to steal that you have never dreamed of... I get mad thinking about it... John

In my opinion I think its core values all America Loving people relate to. To use Bud Light as an example. It didnt matter if you were a gun owner. They offered a product all adult age groups consumed. Their consumer base was more conservative for that product. I guess what I am trying to say is that it was an afront to conservative values which transfer past just being a gun owner. If we boycott liberty it may not work because its some of us conservative gun owners instead of all conservative value having people. Hope that makes sense.
