Where do the 108’s like to be best set at on your barrel?

Have you tried any other bullets with H4350?
I’m trying to find an alternative to Varget and 87 Vmaxs and I have plenty 4350 here.
Thanks

Please keep the results coming Willie. Lots of inquiring minds out here that are interested:) When We could get any powder We wanted, many said H4350 was not the right powder for the 6BR. I’d sure like to make it work ;)

I have a 22in 8T Shilen bbl on a mod 7 action. I have been shooting moa at 600 using a bipod and rabbit ear bag with 103 eld-x kissing the lands, 30.5 vgt, 2800 fps, lapua brass and and magnum primers. Without significant wind I should mention! I tried h4350 but couldnt shoot one holers at 100 and then I got my hands on some Varget.

Varget has been the best powder when I loaded for the 6BR or the 6BRX.

My F Open load for 6BR,
1:8 twist 28" Benchmark barrel,
JGS no neck turn chamber{1262 JGS reamer}
Peterson brass, {retired/sold on all my Lapua}
103gr Copper Head {identical to 103 Vapor Trail}
29.3gr AR2208 {VARGET in the USA}

CCI 450's
5-7 thousand jam
Have made a 200.14 at 600yds with this load... That is off the mound, not a bench.
Have never gotten Berger to shoot real well in all the various 6mm weights but 107 Sierra did go well but still not as well as the 103's... Just seems to be the perfect weight for the caliber.

This is one of my good loads, Just love the BRs, had to switch from 105s hybrids to 107 SMK since they're more available at the time.
Mcgowen 28" straight cut chambered 6BRA by Omar Alonzo
107 SMK
N140 @ 29.6gr
Alpha Brass
CCI 450s
Was at 2767FPS during early development but recent belly match showed an average of 2750.
I'm considering trying for 2800-2900 range now that I got some H4895 back on my shelves.

Had my 28" Bartlein 6BR out a few days ago to test a project I've been working on... New revolution stock that I opened the barrel channel up with plenty of clearance for a 1.2" straight barrel and fully bedded with 10110 for a single shot TL3...

No load workup for these 106 A-Tips, just loaded them with my 105 Hybrid load 0.01 off. I'd say she's shooting

35rd on the chrono
