7 FCP, a cartridge developed specifically for the F Class Scene...

I’m in on the FCP, got a .313 reamer, sizing die w/.306nk, clicker seating die and a go gauge headed my way. Will spin up a 32” finish length Hawk Hill 8.50 Twist bbl and put a EC V2 on it.
Plans are 184gr Berger and triple nickle, N555, w/ Lapua brass. Got a 28” finish length that I will chamber identical for fireforming..

Will advise..

You dont need to fire form as a separate function. My fireforming is done at the Match and they are
highly competitive. hell you may even win one and shoot some cleans.
Thanks, I don’t mind FF, going to give it an honest run. I’ll definitely try it and see how consistent it groups. My Dashers were always very accurate while FF.

They shoot great fire forming, just go to a match. I came in 3rd at a 1K state regional fire forming..
I hate turning brass so no turn for me.
Appreciate the feedback especially with positive information. Will post updates here as I go. Really excited to get it in the works..

This will be more accurate....I think sometimes than my fireformed brass..lol...well
its a tie. ( The only thing with Virgin brass is perhaps flyer once in a blue moon, but fireformed
youl have none. )..

Thanks @Bryan Blake for the information, Katie said I’ll have my order by end of this week.
Will be all over it when I get home from New Mexico.

If all goes well will take the 7FCP to the Colorado State Long Range Championships on Aug 25th to the 27th and put it to the test, but after fire forming.

Reading through this more closely I get it now

Alternative brass/cartridge method to get 7 saum performance with a ackley shoulder.

I like 7 saum performance( busted my 2 mile cherry with one) and after building a 6BRA I understand the merits of the 40 degree shoulder.

Oh, I cross hatched the bbl with emory cloth, sure looks good in person. Pictures don’t look bad though..
Hawk Hill 8.50 TW, 4 grove finished at 32”.
Chambering was non issue, the reamer cut exceptionally well. Crowned @ 11 degrees and fitted the EC V2.
Hope it has legs….

Will get it engraved here in a few days… didn’t feel like setting up the mill…

Sorry about the issues, we strive to never have them in the first place. Thank you for being understanding and letting us get the issues fixed.
Bryan it was a minor issue and understandable, things happen. What matters is how it was handled by you! I’m more than pleased and was handled absolutely amazing..

Getting out this evening with the FCP and get 50 or so rounds down the bbl.

Will update shot maker groups and LabRadar velocities late this evening..
