I am stunned by the idiocy of the mindset to ban something that saves our hearing. They are registered like full auto so what is the big deal?

My quarter's on the idea that suppressed weaponry helps reduce the likelihood the bad guy's bad deeds will be heard before he (?) makes his escape. (Same sort of illogic as "short" weapons being more dangerous due to "handier" operation and improved concealability.)

Of course, going after the bad guys, and only the bad guys, isn't what the mindless "banners" do. They come after everybody. Those sorts have no shame in thievery of the rights of their children. The whole "if it saves one life" mindset (read: lunacy).

Some members of my family think in such ways. Oh, poor, pitiful them, incapable of recognizing what they do.

The sad thing is, such unconstitutional behavior on the part of the staff IS "banned." Disallowed, via their sworn oaths to support/protect/defend, and via the disallowing of giving "support to enemies." Of course, nealry none of the staff give two hoots for any of that. This is all a Saul Alinsky playbook total assault to grab total power and eliminate the opposition. From herding African American citicizens into tenaments, free phones, snap cards, rent subsidy(remember the star trek species hooked on "the white" drug), mass migration of mexican and central america folks into the usa, instant citizenship ploys....all designed to fix elections as unwinnable by Republicans or any other candidate not vetted by the Dems.

Of course no politician will ever vote in favor of term limits, nor will they ever relinquish control over their salary and perks...by the way, sometime look into the perks and extras they get!

One of the best ideas I ever heard was, our representatives should be chosen just like jury duty. Not elected. Everybody's name goes in the pool and when your name comes up, you do two years of service as a Representative in your Statehouse or nationally in DC, then you're done and somebody else takes over your seat for two years. The belief is we'd get much better government with the average person who knows their time in gov is short, no pleasing special interests, no becoming rich with donations (the reason why almost every politician has at least one not-for-profit "charity"), no insider trading in the market which they regulate and manipulate by law, and on and on. Not serving their own personal interests but rather the interests of the every-day average citizens...of which they are one. An entirely different perspective.

And if a person proves themselves as trustworthy they would be welcome to run, along with anyone else, for election as a Senator. Better yet, let the state legislators choose the National Senators.

Of course this never will happen. It would take an amendment I guess to the constitution and now we're back to the first problem...same as term limits.

Similar to what I say about elections...rather than the government and their appointed (sometimes elected) administrators running the elections, We The People should say no, WE will run the elections and then We will tell YOU, the Government, who we have elected.

That's another one that will never happen.
