New Jersey democrats have never been known to be the best and brightest. I think they’ve watched too many action movies. They show confiscated firearms used in crimes on the local news every night. Haven’t seen a suppressor yet. Kind of like how NJ banned 50 Cal rifles. You see them used in crimes all the time……(sarcasm).

How bout blaming ALL politicians? Can't think of ANY that are working for WE THE PEOPLE. Too busy feathering THEIR own nests.
And within the last few days, it's been noticed that some (politicians) are getting $$$$ from insider trading in the market?? More THEE but not ME crap.

Wasn't it Martha Stewart that ended up in the slam for the same thing that the politicians do every day with no issues??? Had enough yet!!!

Marth Stewart went to jail for lying to Fed Agents. Not that elected officials don't lie to Fed Agents and to the public daily. As for electing dems,,,, guess who gives the 'thumbs up or thumbs down' on Fed judge appointments?(they're going crazy right now because Dianne Feinstein is out 'sick') Guess who approves or disapproves Cabinet positions? Guess who goes along with the party line or is denied campaign funds, by their "national committee", come next election? It's all about re-election,,, both parties. And, who would run a Constitutional Convention, except the politicians? Many (most) vote on things they have no real knowledge of, take AI just for instance. They've watched to much TV and it tells them a "silencer" on a revolver makes no sound!

First time I heard a suppressor I was confused as to why it didn't make that little "thwip" sound.

Just kidding. I learned about suppressors in 1976 or 1977. It was explained and shown that a suppressor on a 308 rifle was by no means quiet. It was further explained that in this particular application the purpose was to hide muzzle blast and flash form anyone who may be watching down range. But there was no mistaking that a shot had been fired.

But these days, the use I'm familiar with is to be a good neighbor. As more and more people build houses and move into the farm lands and forested areas around here, people are troubled by the sound of gunfire. Lessening the sound of the shot goes a long way towards helping people feel safe and secure, unstressed. Not to mention the fact that I've been around some VERY LOUD noises in my time and have significant hearing loss. I can't afford to loose any more!

Someone should explain to these politicians that in many European nations suppressors aren't regulated and in fact it's considered very poor form to hunt or shoot without one. Given how they want the US to be like European countries maybe that will change their opinion. Hah! Fat chance. It's all about control and I think in this case taking a jab at gun owners.

It amazes me how quickly stupid people have gained so much traction in the world. Particularly stupid people who have power. The scary part is the smart people who are leading the stupid ones…

Just remember, Race, Religion, Greed, and Politics. Those are the real 4 horsemen.

If you think this has happened quickly, you have not been paying attention. The opinions we have today have been formed over the last couple of decades. The opinions you will see prevalent in the next decade will only be an exponential advancement of what you see today. This has been planned. It is no accident.

The gap grows every day, I think we are past a point that people can sit down and work things out, it’s turning into do as I say or else….

Our freedoms and liberties erode day by day. There will be a point where people draw line, who knows what will happen or when it that will happen but it seems inevitable.

I was born in 1967 and I would have never guessed what we are seeing today would have ever happened in my life time and it’s accelerating.
