7-6.5PRCW

I am getting a lot of calls and emails about this so Im going to start a thread to answer them here.
The 7-6.5prcw is simply a necked up 6.5 prc. The base diameter is corrected to prevent clickers. Thats all thats different about the case body.
What is different is my throat. The lead angle and diameter.
No, my reamer is not available to the public. No, I wont tell you about the throat. But if you guys want I can spec one out with the typical 1.5 degree lead and release it through jgs. Erik has already done that through Manson. Those reamers will shoot.
Dies are easy. Bullet central makes a sizer or you can open the neck in a 6.5 prc die and use a 7mm bushing. Seaters are reamed wilson blanks.
All the same powders and primers you run in the 284 work.
Yes, you will need to order a magnum bolt for your action.
I have a shop reamer and order reamers for customers that want to own their own for me to chamber their barrels with.

Are the calls coming from the F class crowd or the hunters, just curious?

Both. I didnt expect it be be anything but an f class round. But I have chambered more of these than saums for the hunting crowd over the last few months.
I may have to get inline, sounds like a fun one. Using ADG or Lapua brass? I could get some of that while I wait If you have an opening, I’m in no rush.

Alex - LE Wilson made a special for me and commented that they might start offering it. The Wilson die was $164.50, shipped.
Redding 6.5 PRC bushing sizing dies have a neck over Ø.340". I don't have a pin gauge that big but a .308 case drops in and is sloppy in the neck.
I was able to get a decent picture of the Wilson die. Shiny stuff is hard to photograph.
