Membership - donations

This is an unsolicited thread, just encouragement. I’ve noticed a lot of new members over the last year, many of which haven’t bought a membership. I know a lot of guys just log on and browse the classifieds and then check out. I also know many of us check the forum for updates on availability of components, load data, questions about new builds, ideas for builds, tuning loads and on and on. The amount information found on this forum is mind boggling, truly. Besides the forum you have the bulletin and main site where you will find more info, see highlighted projects, videos and weekly specials.

Think about the time and effort that goes into keeping up with all of the above. Imagine if the forum wasn’t here, I think a lot of us would have a serious withdrawal problem. This forum is free of attitude you find on many other sites. People are happy to help when someone has a question. Some of the best competitors, top gunsmiths, sellers of all kinds come here often. In my opinion the forum doesn’t ask for membership or donations often enough. They have a post you’ll see on memberships/donations but I don’t think everybody notices it or pays it attention.

I’ve made some good friends here, many of us have. I’d encourage you to help keep this machine rolling.

Seriously I am trying to bump up a member that has been around as long as i have he is a serious contributor to the site and I am having trouble bumping him up. any advice will be a help. I would like to get this done as this site gives out an awsome amount of information for free! This is a major reason to invest in this site....free information where else can you find that.......just saying.

I don’t think I’ll ever buy or sell on here but I do enjoy reading posts and occasionally ask questions and have to say I get good advice and quick response

Great website with alot of good info & good place to buy & sell. Well worth being a member. I have delt with some really great people on this site. I've been in benchrest shooting for 30 + years and visit the site daily. Become a silver or gold donor. We shooters need sites like this. JUST DO IT!

Yes we do need to increase the percentage of paying members. We really need to bring in some hired help. I am 67 and the time demands are really significant -- 10+ hours a day pretty much every day of the month.

And the costs of servers, firewalls, security stuff has risen significantly in the past two years.
