Sleeper trucks ... Sleeper guns ?

I know exactly where that is, just one block over from Antioch St. and one block from Lucas Ave,right in my old stomping grounds. Just a few blocks out of my city, I retired from Piedmont PD. All those roads up there in the hills were real crappy to have to have a chase on,lol.

Awesome. I used to enjoy the Piedmont Police Blotter in their local newspaper. So many people reporting stolen cars, only to figure out they didn't park in their normal spot...

the satisfaction of doing well in a match after being looked down on because you don't have a rifle that cost 3000 bucks, a scope that costs the same, shooting the latest hoo-ha caliber that you just had to have because you wouldn't even get on paper if you didn't, brings a smile to my face. (I know it's sortof childish, I can't help it...)
No offense, but it does sound sort of childish. When I look at the scores at the end of a match, I never for a minute think about what kind or how expensive his gun was.

not offended, I don't keep score ,I shoot against myself. I just have a problem sometimes with a perceived superior attitude.

You didn't just perceive it, its real. I am a member of a prepper form and one of the members got invited to shot ducks at a rich friends pond. The others in attendance snickered at his Marlin bolt action shotgunand were bragging about their expensive shotguns. When the hunt was over the Marlin shooter had a limit and retied early and out of all the others only one duck was killed.

Years ago, Buddy Graham of Baton rouge stated that if one does not shoot good, he should at least have a great looking rifle. Buddy always had a great rifle. He told me that the secret was to send money to Jim Borden and wait for the great rifle to be shipped to him.
