What is the go to BR Gun Case now that Plano Air glides are discontinued?

ok guys I seen a few of you that have Plano Airglide cases that you are not using and would part with. I would be interested if you want to see them get a good home at a reasonable cost.

SKB is another option.

I just sold 2 airglides and purchased 2 SKBs, a lot tighter fit but a much more secure case. You drop 5-10K on a gun and scope and put it in a $100 case, just not my cup of tea. I really prefer the Pelican but they are (for me) getting heavy but it is max protection. JMHO

I have one that someone can have for free with the stipulation that I will NOT ship it.

I sure would take you up on that. I'm trying to piece together a way to get a shooter i shoot with in your area to get it.

I don't know about most of you but you spend $4k on a rifle, 2k on a scope, and then you balk at paying $200 - $250 on a protective case to carry it in.
What is wrong with this?
I have 2 Plano's for my short trip to the range, and 2 Pelican's if I decide to travel any distance.
For me, its not the price at all, its the case weight and how it carries the scoped rifle. I've used air-glide cases for well over 20 years for moving my BR rifles around with zero issues. I will miss them when these wear out, but they have shown no signs of that yet.

A few years ago I needed new foam inserts for a couple. I called the company and they sent me four sets of inserts postage paid for free. Fantastic company IMO.

I don't shoot competitions so I don't travel with my rifles. I use one hard, cheapie case from Cabela's only because at our range you must have your weapon in a case while walking to the benches.

I would want a latch on each end. I have an SKB that is pretty solid, but with a couple of my wide forearm rifles it does not seal completely.
I have lightly trimmed the foam to let the side of the stock "settle" into the case, not the greatest fix but it does work well.
