Teslong NTG500H - Anyone have one?

I have the older version with the flexible shaft, no real issues with it for the $$. Sure it could be better, but serves my purpose well. You can always connect it to a device with better resolution using an app from what I've read.

That's my thing... I have the USB version and the image quality is amazing with a laptop... but I dont want to monkey with that. I just want the small screen... but I want a good screen. I use it too many times a day to connect it to a laptop or phone.
 
I have one and feel for the investment the return is good. One critical thing a lot of people I have talked to seem to miss is you have to focus the mirror by moving it in and out on the shaft to get optimal focal distance. This distance changes minutely between calibers.

You've got the newer one? I know how to focus it... The screen on the old one is real trash. Maybe it's just mine.. other people love them

I emailed them last month about their "Focus and Fold borescope " option and they said it would hopefully be available in "within the next few months".
 
I know I'm being picky... I like the portable small screen. The android apps really suck. I have a usb model and an android table. It's too much hassle.

I do indeed, just got it a month or so ago. Let me recover from have a 50 cal kidney stone removed today and I will see if i can capture some images that will give you an idea of the screen resolution
 
FWIW I was easily able to define carbon, copper, and firescale with no issues as well as look for aome apecific issues. My only complaint so far is I would like aome more weight to the display to keep it where I put it when using it
 
The one i got 2yrs ago is plug and play on my phone. The app i have is no longer available. Pics are great.
Focus and the Brite reflection is my only complaint.
I know what I'm looking for nowadays so it's in and out quickly
 
I rigged together a wi fi version I use on any I pad or firestick . It was a wi fi scope foe checking auto or home , unplugged the camera lead and plugged in the teslong. All is good and cheap . The adapter wi fi unit was $30 . I’ll see if I can find the Amazon deal . This was 3-4 yrs ago but recently saw the same unit on ebay .
 
Here it is . You just unplug the big camera and plug in the Teslong. Compare your ends because mine is an older teslong. Im not sure if they changed the plug .
