I own the NTG500H w/ IPS screen and am very pleased with the images/video it provides. I borrowed a friends Lyman bore scope and the images/video were clearly sharper than what the Lyman could muster.
Have you contacted Teslong? Seems to be the place to start.I had the lyman a long time ago... the first teslong screen is better, but not by much. It might just be the particular one I have but the screen looks like it has a polarized lense on it that's 90 degrees the wrong direction. Hard to explain
Which were you using? The Mo-View app is what's recommended now after the old one was retired a few years ago and it works just fine for me.The one i got 2yrs ago is plug and play on my phone. The app i have is no longer available. Pics are great.
Focus and the Brite reflection is my only complaint.
I know what I'm looking for nowadays so it's in and out quickly
OTG camera. It still works fine on my phone. It's not available to DL anymore.Which were you using? The Mo-View app is what's recommended now after the old one was retired a few years ago and it works just fine for me.
That's about what mine looks like on an older [Galaxy 7] android. 'In person', the images on my phone are a bit sharper. These are my phone
Is that screen protector blue? I see a little blue tab up on the right top side.View attachment 1417846
@LVLAaron here is a quick grab for you. Consoder I still have the screen protector film on the display and also that the image is a little degraded because of a digital cameras ability to catch some screen refresh. I would also ask you to keep in mind I am not a photographer...lol. That said the image is better in person of course and if you zoom in you will see more detail with little pixelation. The last point to consoder is thats a dirty 6mm bore and I discovered this eve that my 6mm mirror was broken so had to use the 22 mirror.
Ps the screen is not that blue to naked eye thats a result of the digital pic.
Hope this is helpful.
Andy
If it is it is undetectable to the naked eye. It would not surprise me if it had the faintest tint to it but also CCD chips in digital cameras tend to amplify the blue light spectrum since it is the shortest wavelength of visible spectrum. Is that screen protector blue? My phone and ipad also do very well but Aaron was asking specifically about the ntg500 display not other options. These are my phone
It's just one of those thin static cling screen protectors put on by the mfg'r for shipping. I have not removed mine either. LOLIs that screen protector blue? I see a little blue tab up on the right top side.

I have this one. I’ve been happy with it across the board. The ips screen oneI have this model now (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D9GDQD5/ref=emc_b_5_t) and the screen itself leaves a ton to be desired.
