1035 yard bear

Retired in 1999. Returned and hunted as a non-resident until 2004. Killed a nice 10 pt there and never returned. Learned the hunting in Georgia is way better with a long season.

As for this huge "discussion" remember ... "Never argue with a drunk or the mentally ill."

If that does not ring true just look at my signature and think back at the full 11 pages of this thread.

Jeremiah….. you ever get lonesome?

Bear claws….. for what?

Jeremiah…… a woman

Bear claws….. a full-time night woman?

Bear claws……haha, I packed me a squaw for 10 years pilgrim, Cheyenne she were, the meanest bitch that ever balled for beads, I lodge poled her a dead wolf creek, and traded her for a Hawken gun. Now don’t get me wrong Pilgrim I loves the women’s I surely do, but I swear the woman’s breast is the hardest rock that the Almighty ever made, and I can find no sign on it.

Jeremiah speaking to his recently inherited squaw…..
Jeremiah…. Great Hunter, yes?
Squaw…. yes.
Jeremiah…… fine figure of a man,yes?
Squaw…. yes.
Jeremiah….. that is all you need to know for now.

My camp was Red V. It is off Huckleberry Road near and in Black Moshannon State park - Centre Co. The hollow there is called Potter Hollow.
Mornin` captain, I know that area well. hunted coyotes out Huckleberry in Februarys if the road was passible. My parents had a camp down on the westside of the park along the lake. And i hunted bear at a camp up on North Run. Great area, sure miss it. Take care Jeff

I was hunting Cambria County. I have a camp outside of Cross Forks.
God`s country.I used to go up to X Forks for the annual rattlesnake hunt. What a time. You never would know just how many snakes there are until you go and see how many they drag in. Couldn`t sleep for a week after that. Damn,I keep thinking about PA I might just move back. Take care Jeff

Did I hit a nerve Big Red?
No, i'm soon to be 75 yrs old . Wearing out like most that age. Can't walk well, wear glasses and hearing aids. Gave up deer hunting in my late 20's because the once a year crazy's were dangerous and i much prefer beef. My passion was hunting quail and ringnecks. Been Prairie dog shooting a few times thats been pretty well ruined.
I now enjoy shooting 22 rifle at 50 yds and participate in some good old bot events.
I stand by my original observation 100 % and entertained byall the pro's on the board.
