Do you cut the foam on these or is it the pluck type? Thanks!I still have 2 Airglides but never use them since going to the Vault case, I now have 5 of them.
Indestructible, lockable if you fly and the ability to not worry whether your 6 - 7,000.00 rifle is secure and protected or not
Do you keep it upright like in the picture, to keep most of the weight off the scope turrets?
It doesnt matter much. It has very thick egg crate on both sides so the gun and scope just kinda get surrounded. It wouldnt hurt it to drop it upside down i dont thinkDo you keep it upright like in the picture, to keep most of the weight off the scope turrets?
Bingo! The best thing about the AirGlide cases is no side load on the scope.
I cut the foam. Each case is for a specific rifle.Do you cut the foam on these or is it the pluck type? Thanks!

I have a 30 inch Panda F class in mine with bolt and it is on a 3 inch wide stock. This case will take longer and wider... it is a hard case wrapped in heavy fiber cloth or something.this is nice! thanks for posting this.
I wish it had the width for 3" stocks, and the price is a little up there, but I really like the design.
Exactly! Do not store in the case!Limit exposure. Dont store them in there
Even though the Pelican 1750 is heavy I use this for all trips, like you said with what we have invested in the gun/scope I'm not scrimping on the case!I don't know about most of you but you spend $4k on a rifle, 2k on a scope, and then you balk at paying $200 - $250 on a protective case to carry it in.
What is wrong with this?
I have 2 Plano's for my short trip to the range, and 2 Pelican's if I decide to travel any distance.
Still have that Air Glide?I've got an air glide that I never used. Make me an offer if your interested.
Yes, I do.Still have that Air Glide?
