Case Lube

15yrs or more - Hornady One Shot Spray. No stuck cases.
Ran out few months back, and decided to try Unique by Hornady. Slowed my sizing sessions a bit, but I see I am getting more consistent shoulder bumps.

I tried the lanolin and alcohol mix way back in the day and stuck a case. I must have done something wrong. lol

I had an order from Midway almost ready to place, to take advantage of their free shipping which ended last night. I added a couple of tins of the Hornady sizing wax. When it arrives, I'll try it head to head with the Imperial that I have. Will comment here.
This is why I have a chemical cabinet in the man cave, sporting plenty of bore cleaning products and lubricants. I'm a fool for a new idea. Part of my CPI predilection. EDIT: Continuous Process Improvement
I gotta say, if it were not for my curiosity, I would never have tried Free All. It is now my go-to bore cleaner! On the other hand, I have most of a bottle of Hobo Oil left. I do not get the cult-like following it has. Reminds me of Break Free CLP, other than that objectionable smell. Don't ask me what I think it smells like...

Meanwhile today I will be digging in my closet looking for my flame suit.
No really I like the way the case sizes and it feels better to me when wiped off the case compared to the Imperial. I got a can once in the Summer that the oil had separated from the wax, but Midways CS was great and switched it out for me.
My press Rams sure appreciate the Hobo oil!

RCBS Case Slick spray.. Tried Hornady One Shot yesterday.. Both work well..
I did learn a lesson. Shows my ignorance.. I was FL sizing some .243 brass right before this years deer season for hand loading some 85 gr Partitions.. I screwed in my die per instructions and was crimping / wrinkling the necks.. I thought the die was dirty. Thought it was the lube ( too much or too little). Help from AK Man II and I had used the instructions from RCBS on setting the die and my rifle brass etc did not need to be set back / sized that much..

Imperial is great stuff, but for bulk runs of 223 or something, a spray lube is much better for me. Drop 150 pieces in an old Stauffer's Lasagna tray and mist it with DCL. Done.

RCBS Case Lube-2, for normal resizing. It is water soluble and wipes off with a wet rag.
Imperial if I am reforming cases.
