New Upgrade for the V3 AutoTrickler

Finally received mine today. Awesome piece of hardware. Worth the wait.
Agreed. Would buy more trickler wheels if they were available.

I like that mine tends to trickle a kernel or two low (Entris is a slower responding scale) and this trickler makes it pretty easy to click forward a kernel at a time.

I found that a takedown pin retaining spring from an ar15 works to apply pressure to the ball as shown in fclass John's video.

Anyone having issues with binding or jamming in a default configuration? I was loading RL16 with the standard disk, and had it bind up a few times. It required you to use the thumb screw to reverse direction, and then it would continue dispensing.

You have the reversible pick up by the dispenser tube backwards. I did the same thing this evening when I switched plates to go from H4895 to N150. As soon as I flipped it back around, I was back in business.

I need to check on this but I only have the issue when I’m dispensing powder that’s not on “the list”. So I think it’s extra kernels hanging in the plate pockets and jamming. I’d like more plates to be able to dispense more kinds of powder without it jamming.

Yeah. I tested reversing it before I went to bed last night.

He is correct , it will immediately jam/bind if you have it reversed. :)

In my case I had the wrong disk installed for the powder I was trickling. It probably bound up ~15 times out of 100 charges, but otherwise it worked perfectly.

I had assumed there wasn't that much of a difference between the RL16 & Varget stick profile to really matter, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I’ve been running IMR 4198 which has long thin kernels and it does jam sometimes. But I have no particular complaint since it’s not one of the supported powders.
