I need therapy on the new price level for the price of a single primer. The logic of .15 to .20 per primer is so out of wack. Including tax, hazmat and shipping.
These have to be the same people buying electric cars and paying 2 times retail cost, to save a dollar on gas. The math makes no cents.

At least 1K primers last longer than 2 tanks of gas. They're about the same price.

I believe it. Shooters are the worst panic buyers of all. I knew a guy selling small pistol for over $300 per thowie in the height of this insanity. I'm perfectly happy shooting less and waiting if I have to. I never support crazy price levels. I stocked up when stuff was priced normal though.

I'm doing another primer test today to see if the cheap ones I can get a bunch of really prove themselves at 200. If they do, I'm buying 5000 more.

It's amazing how much impact a primer change can have on a load.

Haven't found any on the net either. The last time was at Midway, $99 for 1k of Federal 205 match. I was willing to pay that because it would have probably taken me to the end of my shooting life, but they were gone in 60 seconds.

Well, it ain't brain cancer - will run out my current string and then become a rimfire shooter, I guess. The varmint hunting is waning anyway, loss of many of the areas I've hunted for years and changes in farming practices has made it very difficult to pursue this past time.

@K22 - there's been primers available on the net - although you may not like the prices. But they are available almost daily. Many times, available primers are posted in this thread almost daily:

Juggle hazmat and shipping.
3000 primers, a couple different powders, some bullets, and anything else you want and hazmat/shipping per round comes way down.
