You mentioned swapping chassis. I have a Masterpiece Arms 6 dasher on a PRS chassis and it has been a fantastic shooter since day 1. I have often wondered how difficult it would be to put the barreled action into a benchrest stock. Anyone know if it is possible and if so, what would it involve? Thanks.

Not sure how it would work going from mag fed, to single shot. Maybe a spacer plate.

You can glue the follower into the stock and itll just stay there

Last weeks match at 400 yards had a tie for first place in some
evil switching winds. Both shooters used the BRX to compliment
their skills. A buddy of mine, Bucky27 is just starting a 6GT project.
He does shoot PRS.

BRX has a shorter neck, same shoulder angle, 30 degrees. Shoulder is moved forward .100. I have been shooting a pair since shortly after Bob Chrone started setting records and winning with it. 100 to 1000 yards, it works and easy to fireform brass. Set a bullet long in a BR case and shoot it. It has kept me competitive for quite a while.

The dasher owns a ton of BR records at 600 and a 1000. I think a dasher was used to win the mid-range F-class nationals recently?? I’ll look and see if I can verify that.

I think the GT is a dandy for using the slower burning powders. It can be tough to get enough H4350 or RL-16 in a dasher case at times. Some lots are bulkier than others. The GT has a bigger fuel tank that may be sized just right to take advantage of the above mentioned powders without a long drop tube.

My 6br and myself do plenty good in both PRS and f class. It's in a KRG Bravo Chassis with Arca rail and Harris bipod. Nucleus action and CBI barrel.

I have a 6GT in a PRS style gun, and in an F-open gun. I love them both.

If you're going to mag feed, I think I'd pick 6GT - it should be the least picky about it
