IT'S NEVER THEIR MONIES ,IS IT !!!. WE the taxpayers ALWAYS pickup the tab for their outright STUPIDITY ,regardless of party affiliation . I can't help wonder how much money each and every one of them would owe us taxpayers , IF they were paid upon performance ,rather than on attendance !.

Still say NO politician should ever be allowed to serve more than two terms consecutively and a sit out mandatory for third term . Pensions to ONLY be issued upon serving a Third term . Might just balance out some BS in the swamp !.

Even if that predicted "Republican sweep" does happen, NOTHING will come from it. When was the last time the Republicans did what they promised to do? They campaigned for years about repealing Obamacare, when we gave them the House, the Senate and the Presidency, they didn't have the courage to use the power at their disposal. It's happened too many times in the past for me to have any faith in them anymore. ALL of them except for less than a dozen of them are nothing but watered down Democrats, all member of the incestuous Washington UNIPARTY.

As to what has been published in the media so far, I am waiting to see the actual wording of the proposed legislation, since, I am certain, the devil will truly be in the details and amendments.
I seek far more detail on:
1) "Cracks down on criminals who illegally evade licensing requirements." and
2) "Cracks down on criminals who illegally straw purchase and traffic guns."
Do these sentences actually refer to US citizens selling their own property in forums such as hosted here? I don't know, but want to. For rest assured, Feral agents find it far easier to molest otherwise law-abiding citizens than risk dealing with actual criminals who might actually fight back.

But be that as it may, it seems to me the Republicans should be very careful. They have previously shown a great skill at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It may be that their Democrat colleagues have tricked them into it again. I am less sanguine than some about a Republican sweep in November, since, in my opinion, it would not take much for back-stabbed gun owners to sit on their hands in November

Too true. They are either spineless when it comes to following through or they were not really in support of what people thought they were. They simply use the issues for political expediency. What a surprise.

I never thought for a moment that they had ethics. I hoped that at the least the very laws we have already would have at least charged them.
McConaughey is one of those Hollywood people who have been told they are both smart and good looking. Then they believe it. They never thought that’s from the people they hired. He put glasses on so he would look smart.
I’ve come to accept that all good things come to an end. The USA has had a real long run. One of the oldest nations on earth so maybe it is winding down.

Agreed : I just read last week a County in New Mexico has out right BANNED Dominion voting machines !.
After they hired an electronics expert ,who conducted tests and conclusively PROVED ,those machines CAN EASILY BE MANIPULATED . They can change vote count ,they can alter % of votes counted and can be accessed REMOTELY !.
No wonder Dominion REFUSED to allow anyone to do any testing on their machines !. So WHO considers those machines valid now !!!!!!!!!!!!. Sydney Powell and others KNEW they were manipulated but court system was in on the FIX ,as well as many many other political morons !!.

Mid Terms will determine whether Thomas Jefferson's Tree of Freedom ,will be in need of nourishing again !!!.

it all comes down to the fact that it isn’t bad enough yet for any rational gun owner to never see our families again.
i think firearm confiscation will be the braking point. there are 75-110 million gun owners in the united states, if only 4% refuse to turn them in there won’t be enough popcorn in the world for that show. having said that how are they going to take them? door to door? lol not me.
gun haters aren’t dumb. they will just keep nickel and diming gun owners for the foreseeable future.
